In life, we are in a relationship with everything. This is why having relationship skills are so important. At the fundamental level, it is the key for which everything else builds upon. It takes skill to master it resulting in a happy healthy you. Sadly, we are never taught these skills during our childhood and wonder why as adults we have such a difficult time navigating through life.
The first and very most important relationship is the one we have with ourselves. Having self esteem, confidence, healthy boundaries and balanced emotions are all required for you to succeed and thrive. Working on these things for some, may seem impossible. Anything is possible when trying to become the best version of yourself. It will take practice and the proper mindset, including self talk.
If you are looking to begin working on these qualities, start by writing down what you want and things you can do to get there. Slowly incorporate those changes into your life, practice them daily, change your self talk.
A year will go by whether you work on this or not. However in a years time, your life could be completely different if you take a chance on yourself.
